I was wondering if anyone else has an extreme height difference with their fiance. I am 5'5" and he is 7' (a foot and seven inches difference!!). I am honestly a little concerned for THE KISS, first dance, pictures, etc. We of course deal with things like this on a daily basis, but I don't want any of these special moments to look or go awkward. I can picture us just stopping in the middle of our first dance because it is going awkwardly. I feel like I might have to get a little creative on this one and think about these little moments ahead of time.

I wouldn't worry, He bends down you stand on ur toes. I think its cute. FH has alot of height on me and I like it. Some people were telling me I should wear really high heels to make up some of difference but theres no way I would be comfortable. So Im not going to do it. People know I'm short and hes tall. Im not going to try and hide it in pics. You gotta do what ur happy with.

I am 5'2" and my FH is 6'5". I always say, if I could sleep in heels I would! Like you, I will have to find the cutest platform heel (without being to "exotic" if you catch me drift ) I also would like to plan a dip with our first kiss as husband and wife to avoid having to stand on my tippy toes and him bending down too far.... but we will need to practice and lots of practicing is fine by me! I'd love to see what you end up choosing!

Chloe, good idea to dip for your kiss -- and practicing is lots of fun!

I'm 5'3 and DH is 6' so I wore 3" heels.

I'm 5'4" and hubby is 6'2" and I wore 4 inch heels - it worked out well!

Oh so wished I had tha problem anyone know how to make me shorter LOl I am 5'10.5 and FH is 5'11 no heals for me I guess.

I dunno, I'm 4'11''...hubby is 6'1''. I never feel like we look awkward until I catch a glimpse of us in a store window or mirror when I'm wearing sneakers. And then I just hug him because it makes me feel so much smaller and more feminine. I wore heels for the wedding because I loved the shoes. I never even noticed the difference in our height. Ha! You'll be fine!
