Heels or Flats ?

Ladies! Would it look bad if I wear flats with my wedding dress? Would it not look elegant? I am thinking of cute gold glittery flats to be comfy. What do you guys think?

I think I'm going to be wearing flats. FH isn't much taller than me and I know I'd want to change into flats later anyway for comfort.

I tell myself that no one is really going to see my shoes anyway. So wear whatever shoes you want!

I love to wear heels, but I'll be taller than FH in anything taller than flats. He doesn't mind but I do, so I bought flats.

Maybe kitten heels would be a good option!

That's exactly what I'm going to do! I can't wear heels for too long, my feet are really wide and it gets so painful. Flats all the way! Plus, you'll barely see the shoes anyways.

No one will see your shoes if your dress is long, so I say wear what's comfortable! Smiley smile

I'm wearing flats because I'm 5'6" and FH is only 3 inches taller than me. For the wedding day I prefer to be even with him instead of looking down. LOL

    Wear whatever suites you best!

I'm outdoor for ceremony. Flats are great and keep feet from hurting and I love the idea.

I'm planning on wearing flats since my fiancé is only a few inches taller than me. Also, I'm not a heel person at all!

I'll be wearing flats because I look like a drunk baby giraffe in heels. It's honestly whatever you feel comfortable in!

Go ahead and wear comfortable shoes. You will be on your feet all day. And there are plenty of pretty, sparkly flat shoes.

And honestly, no one really sees your shoes under your gown anyway.

Not a bad idea my sis wore flats for her wedding one for comfort and two because if she wore heels she would be taller than her husband

You can totally wear flats and look fantastic! I'm 5'1 and I pretty much live in heals 24/7 and even I'm thinking of switching from heels to flats or smaller heels after the ceremony. My cousin got married in lime green converse (which paired hilariously beautiful with her fully laced dress) so you wear whatever you'd like Smiley smile

FH and I are the same height (5'9") and my feet will hurt in heels all day anyway so I found a great pair of peep-toe flats with jewel accents for my wedding day and I'm happy with that. Whatever you are comfortable in is fine. There is no right or wrong shoe for your wedding day.

I have to wear flats because my dress is the perfect length already and there is no hem we can let our for extra length. I'm kind of bummed about it because I always pictured a killer heel on my wedding day but in reality I think I'll be more carefree the day of if I'm not worried about aching feet. And there are a couple of pretty flats I've found. I echo everyone here though -- wear what you want!
