Which are you choosing: a head table with your bridal party by your sides or sweetheart table for just you and your love? And why?

I feel like “extended sweetheart table” is a better term as it’ll likely all be couples 😂😂

We are doing a head table and the bridal party's significant others are all sitting together at their own table (sense everyone will know each other).

We have our cater planning the wedding reception as well and he suggested a Tuscan Table when I mentioned I wanted everyone to be able to converse and not have to scream down to the other end of the table. He said it will be a moon table (where my husband and I will be) with two rectangular tables going out from this for the parties and dates to sit at! I am excited to see this.

Sweetheart table, for two main reasons!

1.) We really do want to be able to slow down, eat together, talk to each other, and enjoy the moment.

2.) Family drama, I don't want my mom to feel like I picked his family over mine if I have more of his than mine at the head table. It sounds crazy but kind of what I've been dealing with. The way our reception is set up, there isn't room for a table to accommodate key people from both of our families.

I wanted a head table because tbh I don’t want people just staring at us in the center of the dance floor lol that was the only spot for it at our tight fit venue.

Sweetheart table! My fiancé and i just want to be together. Plus we have both been guests at weddings where the other one is in the wedding and you’re sitting with strangers while they’re up front, not too much fun. This way our bridal party and their significant others can be together too!

We’re doing a sweetheart table, but we’re a young couple & our WP is all pretty young too & their single so we’re having a table reserved for them so they all have somewhere to sit & can mingle among eachother since neither of our sides have met before.
