Which are you choosing: a head table with your bridal party by your sides or sweetheart table for just you and your love? And why?

I like the head table. My best friends and his have done SO much for us already to help out with planning, etc and I want them to feel special and important too. Obviously, everyone who is invited is important to us but having them next to me celebrating will be amazing.

We are doing a head table. It is easiest for the venue and dates can sit close enough to us. We will only be seated for dinner.

Look into a Kings table! It’s nice as you and your husband will be alone at the end sort of like a sweetheart table and the bridal party will eat across from each other. Much more conducive for talking. We did a kings table and it was the best decision. Also can be placed going partially into the rounds so the reception feels more intimate.

We are doing a sweetheart table. We didn't want to split up the bridal party from their significant others.

Sweetheart table 🥰. I didn’t even think about the bridal party when I made my decision. I just figured it’s a way for us to get some “us” time during the reception. We will have something similar to a head table for our immediate families (parents, siblings and their SO.) which will be set up
    differently than the other tables.

Sweetheart because as many people said, I want the wedding party to sit with their SOs however, I don’t want to do the Kong’s table because then I feel like the wedding party members who don’t have SOs feel weird. We’re also not having a wedding party table- we’re spreading them throughout their friends

A sweetheart table! The day is spent talking to everyone you invited, so we want some time that it is just the two of us enjoying eachothers company on our wedding day!

I love this question, thanks for posting! My FH and I are undecided on this as well.

Sweetheart table. It feels more special/intimate and doesn't separate husbands/wives who are in the bridal party from their spouses.

We are doing I guess a kings table ( a term I didn’t know existed until this thread 😂😂😂) we only have one each and I think it’d be fun for all of us to sit together.

We are doing two really long wood tables. Bridesmaids on one side grooms on the other and where the two meet we will have the flowers used on our wedding arch moved and placed as the center piece where my fiancé and I will sit.

We’re doing a sweetheart table mainly because some of our BP have a significant other and we want them to be able to sit with them

I'm planning on doing a head table. I've seen sweetheart tables so that people can sit with their SO's and so that the bride and groom can have "alone time" but really...all you do is eat and listen to toasts! The whole rest of the night you are mingling with your guests and dancing. And your WP is doing the same after they eat. I really don't see what the big deal is. Plus, the majority of our WP are couples anyway.

We don’t have a WP, so we are doing a table with us and our kids. They’re leaving after the first dance, so we wanted to get to spend a little bit of time with them.

We are doing a head table because I just like the feel of it, having the people who stood by your side on your big day should get to sit with you on it as well!

We actually opted for a Kings tabe! It worked out really well, since we wanted our bridal parties to sit with their plus one.

We are doing a sweetheart table and head table infront of us as FH likes to feel like a king so he is requesting us to rent throne chairs and have us above everyone else (so he has to build a platform)

We are actually having a long head table running along the center of our room where our wedding party will sit with us and their significant others. My FH and myself will sit in the center of the table with our MOH and BM with their dates sitting directly across from us. The rest of the wedding party and their dates will fill out both sides of the table. We are also having a children's table for my daughter and her friends (who's mom's are BM's) with games and finger foods for them to have during the evening.

We are doing the one long table for a few reasons. My FH isn't a huge fan of being the center of attention, we both want to sit with our friends and enjoy the moments with them and I love the look of a long table. The rest of our tables will be rounds for the other guests and the head table will be splitting the room of rounds up quite literally half and half. Our reception venue is sort of T shaped so we will have plenty of space for a dance floor at the top of the T of the room and tables within the bottom of the T. We are also having a plated dinner so no need to configure buffet lines or tables.
