Has anyone done a Hawaiian themed reception? We are getting married in Hawaii but having a reception back home a month later. I am trying to incorporate Hawaiian touches, such as music, entertainment, food. Just wondering if anyone has seen this and have any helpful tips.

They have a ton of local foods you can choose from
Kalua Pork is amazing and it is usually served for Luau's. They usually make it over a pit in the ground! Pretty neat. Also, there are tons of ways to incorporate their culture into your wedding. They make their own coffee, grow their own pineapples, etc. You could also serve Malasadas which is a fun dessert they have. It's like a round fried dough ball with fun fillings. You could have fun with this!
