Hawaii Honeymoon - Question for those who have been there

We live in Arizona and neither of us have gone to Hawaii and we want to for our honeymoon. How is the weather there in the middle of September? I know it's ending monsoon season here...what about there? Any info is appreciated! We want a place to relax on the beach for a week, is it the dream place...

Ive been to Oahu, and its so beautiful there. So much to do but it can get a little pricey if you're trying to go to all their "tourists" places. But the beaches are free! lol

Weather is nice is sept. but take a sweater for the nice long walks at the beach at night!

Every Island is different and there is so much to see and do on all of them. Love Hawaii and September is a great time to go! Loved Maui and the Kanapali beach area...touristy, but also very relaxing. Kauai is more low key, less to do yet still amazing. Oahu is great for sight seeing...Pearl Harbor, Pineapple plantations and so much more. Would love to chat and help you narrow down your ideal honeymoon adventure. FH was just talking about HI for the honeymoon last night! I have some reservations about going since I always hear how expensive it is.

My FI and I are spending 5 days in Maui and 5 in Oahu so we'll get a taste of everything. We can't wait! In Waikiki we're staying in the same hotel his parents stayed in for their honeymoon 43 years ago so that is really cool for us. Here are some things we're planning on doing:

Maui plans: Road to Hana and Molikini

Oahu plans: SURF! Shark diving, Pearl Harbor, and Diamond Head hike.

AS others have stated Hawaii is out of control beautiful. I have been to Oaui once and plan on going back for our honeymoon actually the same time as you plan. The weather is very nice in September. It is expensive but you only have your honeymoon once so we are doing it up. Like someone else stated Waikiki is crazy crowded and not my first pick for a honeymoon. But the island of Oahu itself has a lot to see. Especially the Pearl Harbor site which is in my opinion a must experience since you will be out there. I'll give you our plans to give you sum info.... We are staying on Maui for seven days and then flying to Oahu (waikiki) actually for three days to end the trip. We will get the peace of Maui but then the fun of Waikiki and Oahu to finish it up. There also are balck sand beaches on the Big Island I think which i can imagine are prob worth seeing. But honestly i fell in love with this place the first sec I stepped foot there and if I could afford living there I prob would!

Please make sure you go to the Polynesian Cultural Center!! Also, the tickets are good for two days so if you have enough days and like to experience different cultures, dont rush it! That and Pearl Harbour were my favorite sites from my trip there...the rest is just regular tourist stuff.

There is really no bad season, in Hawaii.

Personally, I am not a fan of Maui. Too touristy. But I will not tell you my favorite place, as I do not want IT to become touristy. So, yeah, Maui, yeah, that's the place to go!
