Having dinner after eloping, who pays?

My fiance and I have decided to elope rather than have a wedding and are planning to go out to dinner afterwards with family and friends. Who pays for dinner? Does everyone pay for their own, are we expected to pay, or one of our parents? Beth

My aunt eloped and my mother and I crashed her elopement. She technically didn't invite is or anybody for that matter. Each party paid their own way, but this is a different situation.

Meghan- why would you do that?

Jenna- this IS a reception situation, sounds like.

    Beth- you pay.
