Have you ever heard of a sick bride ?

Lacey, on September 28, 2019 at 9:05 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 6
Have you ever heard of a sick bride ? Maybe from a cold, the flu, a stomach bug, food poisoning, some infectious illness. Today I woke up with the flu, and I am trying my hardest to get better. But what if I don't ? Can I enjoy my wedding while being sick ? Is there makeup to my flu face look beautiful ?

Smiley sad fluids and vitamins, girl. I've never seen a sick bride but at the same time I'm sure they'd still look radiant on their special day

Get the sudafed or something similar (good stuff behind the counter). It will help dry and wake you up. I'm so sorry.

I was horribly sick on my wedding day and on my period. The day after my wedding I was at urgent care getting a nebulizer treatment because my lungs were filled with fluid. Honestly I didn’t even notice on the day of because I was running on adrenaline the whole time. It still was a wonderful day!

My hubby got sick two days before our wedding but powered through like a champ (happy to boot). He slept the entire 1st day of our honeymoon and rested a few more before we could play but honestly, ordering room service, watching TV, and enjoying our amazing honeymoon villa without a thing to do was h-e-a-v-e-n. Hang in there!

I had a bad cold that started the day before my wedding and got worse on my wedding day. My throat was sore, head hurt, and my nose was stuffy so I sounded a little funny when I talked. But I took Advil throughout the day and had cough drops with me that helped. My adrenaline kept me going so that I didn't really feel sick and very few people could tell. I didn't really get to drink much though, which was a bummer. I also started my period later that same day but fortunately my period starts out light the first day or two so it wasn't too bad. Here's a pic and as you can see I look normal even though I was sick. My HMUA told me that she sees this a lot because stress often catches up with brides so that they get sick the week of their wedding.
