Have you bought your wedding dress or wedding day attire?

Yes!!! I ended up shopping literally the day after we got engaged and found my dress! Almost a year later, and I'm still in love with it! Absolutely no regrets!

Found my dress in October and picked it up in November. It was the second dress I tried on.

Dress bought and being made. But definitely didn't find the dress in the recommended nine months. My timeline is more like seven months. It was last dress I tried on and right before I was going to give up on finding a dress and just make mine.

My dress was the first thing we purchased for our wedding and I'm obsessed every time I see it! Smiley heart I now work at the bridal shop I got my dress from so I get to see it every day I work and I fall more and more in love with it each time I walk by it!

Went and looked at dresses before I actually booked the venue lol. It was the only dress I actually picked off the rack 😊

Yes, I have and it's VERY non-traditional. And I LOVE IT. I like being different and standing out.

Mine's really a question, because I'm nervous about buying my dress online. Does anyone have really good credible online website/ companies that are really good? Besides David's Bridal and places that have actual stores.

No, I have not. I’ve tried on at least 10 dresses and I disliked them all. Well, I liked one but it was $6,000 and I know I shouldn’t spend that kind of money for something I’ll wear one time.

I bought my dress 3 weeks after getting engaged! He had just left for basic training in the Air Force (as wonderful as our benefits and steady income could have been from that, neither of us are mad that didn’t work out) but I was completely beside myself with missing him that I had to go out and do something. So my mom and I went to browse some dresses to see what my options were. We went to one boutique that had my dream dress BEFORE it was discontinued (I fell in love with the dress 4 years prior, what did I expect???) I tried on a few dresses but nothing that made me feel like a bride. We then went to David’s bridal but they didn’t have a stylist for the rest of the night so we just perused the racks. I saw a few that I liked and upon turning a corner, I see the backside of this simple looking lace dress. It reminded me a little of my discontinued dream dress. My interest was surely peaked. So I go around the front and something sparked. I called my mom over, she looks at the dress and then next thing I know, her had has slipped inside the dress’s POCKET! It. Has. Pockets. I had to try it on. We made an appointment for the next day. It was just my mom, dads and I. I tried on a few of the dresses that I thought were pretty but nothing beat this beautiful, simple, SOFT lace halter dress with pockets. I said yes right then and there.

DHGate is a pretty good site. I had ordered a bridesmaid dress from them a few years ago and I was able to put my measurements in so it was made to fit. They had my dream dress (a $1500 Justin Alexander) for $179 but the dress was discontinued before I got engaged. the only downside is the dresses do come from China so they can take several months to receive. I guess it would be about the same timeframe as a boutique but far less expensive! Definitely read the reviews before purchasing, though!!!
