Have you argued with your parents or in-laws about the wedding?

Time to fess up!! Have you had a heated disagreement or two with your parents or in-laws about the wedding? Are you innocent or guilty? Next Question: Have you forgotten to wear your ring? Back to the Beginning: Innocent or Guilty?

Guilty - argued with my mom a bit on the guest list. That’s been it though!

Neither side has had a say in the wedding planning. So no not really, closest thing was when I told my dad we are having pasta and he said we shouldn’t because people will be dressed nice and spaghetti can be messy. I said to eat carefully and that was the end of that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Both of my parents are gone so no one there to argue with. ILs.. We get along pretty well. There was a disagreement last week though about boundaries.. e.g. MIL blabbing private things about the wedding to other people = taking our opportunity away to do so ourselves. Otherwise, zippo

Not with my family, not necessarily argued with my in laws, but we have had disagreements. FMIL has also complained behind my back to FH, so right now I am taking a break from being around her and will not disclose any wedding info personally to her anymore (FH can if he chooses).

Not heated discussions but conflicting opinions about the guest list and who should be invited.

Innocent, I get along with my family and my FH’s family. They are also both very supportive of whatever we want.

Guilty, only with my mom. And it hasn't been anything serious, mostly just me explaining that weddings are different now than they were back then.

Nope, neither my parents nor his parents did big weddings. They're very low key people. That plus the fact we're paying for everything ourselves means nobody really cares what we end up doing, haha.

Innocent. No major disagreements. Mostly everyone is on the same page, and if they don't like my choices, they haven't said anything!

Innocent. I've only had to ask for their opinion on a few things and they totally backed me each time

Not really. My mum thinks I should only have a maid of honor and I've just let it go and I'm not telling her anything for a few more months.
MIL however wanted to invite all her friends to my wedding and I had to assign my fiance to handle that. She wasn't happy but got over it.

Never with my in-laws. My mother and I argued about my hair and about her level of involvement in the planning process in the very beginning, but that's it.
