Have a Beach Wedding in November?

I was thinking of having a intimate beach wedding in Galveston, Corpus Christi, or South Padre Island in Texas. But what I am wondering is if you can have a beach wedding in november? Not sure how beach weather is around that time. We do not have a official date set yet but would be nice to have in november. If we were to do this,the guest count would be 30 people. Is there anything i should know about having a beach wedding because i have never been to a beach before?

Again thanks everyone for the comments. So far SPI is seeming nicer to me and from researching weather its usually between 70 to 80 degrees there which is doable.

Another thing to consider with beaches is the trash and sharp rocks. You'll have to constantly be watching your step, and your dress could be a mess... If you aren't sure about a DW from the get-go, I say don't do it. Too much stress for everyone!
