Has anyone held their ceremony at a park in the Mid-hudson Valley, Ny?

My fiance and I are putting our wedding together ourselves (financially) and are trying to find the cheapest way without having to just go to the courthouse. We are really keen on having an outdoor ceremony. I've been looking into parks (New York State Parks and Scenic Hudson) to have our short ceremony followed by a reception at a local hall rental.

I'm wondering if anyone else has done something similar. Where was it? How and what was the process? I've tried googling weddings in parks around here, but it's hard to find much. Google and WW like to only show expensive venues which are out of the question.
