I know it is from China but, really how risky would that be?

Different people have had different experiences with ordering from China be careful go to different boards read as many reviews as possible and just educate yourself about their return policy, etc before paying for anything

Bad! They are a bad ball of badness! They were the first China site I looked at and that is when I realized all China "Wholesale" sites are bad. They send badly sewn dresses made of bad material or they send you nothing at all and good luck getting your money back.

If you on a tight budget for your dress look into other options. I mean I got my dress from E-bay and they are out China but I got lucky but it up to each person on what they decide to do

With China -- you have to be careful. Lots are scams or poorly done, but there are some good ones out there like Maranda J. said.

I have ordered some items from China for the wedding (just little things for the wedding, not anything big like my dress), but I always went thru ebay because they have the buyer protection and then I paid with Paypal because they also have buyer protection. Of course, I don't know how that would apply if the dress was just made crappy. Although, if it was made crappy then the picture they showed on their listing was false description and etc so perhaps a dress order would be accepted under the protection of both ebay and paypal.

I know the items I did buy off ebay from China could have been bought locally, but I saved money (which is why I did it) and got free shipping. I plan to buy more off of ebay if I find anything else I need.

Hi ladies...dhgate is awesome, especially if you are planning a wedding on a budget! Dhgate is very similar to ebay or amazon. There are different sellers, and not all of them are reputable, so be sure to check their ratings. I ordered my dress from a seller named “babyonline”. I chose a dress they had in their online store (although you can have them custom make something if you send the pics.) The dress cost $156! I added beading detail, so the end price was $206. I placed my order on May 15th, and received my gorgeous gown on June 3rd. See pics below!

I totally recommend ordering from babyonline. Please let me know if you have questions.

I got my dress from DHgate.com (after we went to David's Bridal and bought a more expensive dress). It's really lovely. I'm happy with it. Sorry I don't have better pictures because our apartment is so small but the bottom is especially lovely.
