Has anyone had a brunch wedding at Wedgewood?

FH and I have decided to go in a completely different direction with our wedding plans. Originally we wanted a Saturday evening wedding, like most others, but the more we get into pricing, the more we're realizing we just don't want to spend thousands on one evening. We want to get out of LA the next few years and buy a house either in the south or an island so we could use that money as a down payment instead. So we're now open to other days/times, etc that would really cut costs in half. Our guest list as is is just under 40 and we can shave that down a little too.

We had a tour scheduled at Wedgewood San Clemente but after learning the Sat. evening min was $18k we canceled. The sales coordinator mentioned that brunch weddings are significantly less ($5k) but at the time we weren't open to it. Has anyone had a brunch wedding there? What are the hours? Would love to hear about your experiences? In addition, we're considering some hotels that have restaurant options rather than a banquet hall too.

A brunch wedding is a great way of having your reception at a venue you love, while also keeping costs down! San Clemente by Wedgewood Weddings have great reviews on their WeddingWire storefront and based on 51 reviews, 4.87 stars out of 5.0. None of the reviews mention the brunch wedding specifically, however, you can reach out via their contact form on the storefront and I’m sure they would be happy to answer any specific questions you have. Have you used their Pricing tab already to learn what they charge for a brunch wedding?
A restaurant wedding is also a great option when opting for a more intimate wedding reception. They may have a private function room you can rent for the reception.
