Has anyone bought from Belk.com? *UPDATE* IT CAME!!!! Pic in Comments

Belk is a very popular department store here in the southeast. They're in pretty much every mall in NC. They're not a sketchy company if that's what you're worried about.

ETA: I work in a store where we fulfill orders that customers place online (idk if Belk does this or if all of their orders get fulfilled through their DC). What happens when we scan out an order to be shipped is a UPS label is created and the tracking number is automatically generated. Let's say the package gets pushed off to the side or under the counter by accident and doesn't get put on the truck, you'll get an email with the tracking number because the label was created, but it'll just show that the label was created and there has been no movement. What usually happens is the customer will end up calling customer care and they'll call us because we were the fulfilling store and they'll ask what's the status of the package...that's when we'll realize that it got mixed up or pushed off to the side by accident and well send it out next day air. That's what it sounds like could have happened here but I don't work for Belk so of course I can't say for sure.

I actually just ordered my FH's Vest and Pants from Belk. Timely shipping and looks great!

A "higher end" department store. Extremely reputable company. I haven't ordered from them online because I have a local store.

Belk is a really good store here in the southeast. Ill probably be creating a registry at Belk. It's unfortunate that there was such a mix up but I'm sure they will do what they can to reconcile the situation.

Yes, Belk is a legitimate department store. We don't have any in my immediate area, but they have them in my family's hometown in Mississippi. I am sure your order will get to you. Sometimes the tracking information doesn't update for a few days.

I used to shop at Belk a lot when I lived in NC for school. I'm sorry about this mix up, but I'm sure they'll do their best to make the situation right. They're reputable.

There are Belk stores all around this part of Texas. You've never seen them??? Totally a legit store. I've never been in one, but I see them everywhere

ETA: I actually got a delivery yesterday and it was the first time I had seen tracking information where it told me my tracking number was voided and not valid. I didn't expect the package to arrive, but it did. Have you contacted Belk?

Yes, I've contacted Belk twice. The first time they refunded my shipping, investigated it and said it should be here Wednesday. When it didn't arrive and the shipping information was still not updated at FedEx, and still invalid at USPS, I called back. They told me they had no idea why someone would have told me that. It got escalated to a supervisor, who tried to find me another one at a store, since they are now sold out online, but there were none. And it seems Belk is littered all in Texas, but none in Austin. The nearest is in San Antonio or Waco. So the best they've got for me now is to wait till June 1st, next Wednesday, if it's still not here they will refund my purchase price

BELK is a department store, I'd put somewhere between JC Penny's & Macy's. Think Dillards. they are reputable.

There are none in Austin? There is one, for sure, in New Braunfels. In the Target plaza near the big Bucee's. That's at least around half the distance to San Antonio
