Has anyone bought a dress online??

I was considering that, but then I actually went to a bridal salon to try on dresses. When I went to the salon, I selected several dresses from the book based on pictures. I then realized how different dresses looked on me versus when I was looking at a picture of them. The dresses that I thought were "okay" based on the picture I loved, and the dresses I loved based on the pictures I did not like how they looked on me. Even if you do decide to order online, go to a salon first to get an idea of what types of dresses you like.

You can't change it on the app, but if you go on the mobile browser on your phone or on a laptop/desktop you should have no problem.

I know there are a few users on here who have bought dresses online and from Amazon, but I wouldn't recommend it. Online stores (especially those that come from China/Japan/etc) tend to have poor quality or inconsistent results. Your best bet is to try to find something in stores that you can see/feel that still fit your budget.

I purchased my dress online... At first i was scared about how it would look and fit.. It's beautiful and it fits perfectly.. I just need to get it hemmed but outside of that I love it... And I didn't spend a lot of money for it

FW and I are ordering both our dresses from dressilyme.com. I've done tons of research even had a women send me pics of 2 ballgowns she ordered for her daughter and the were gorgeous. Like opp we are going to try on dresses before ordering to make sure we pick the right styles for our body types.

I ordered mine online but havent recieved it yet. I should get it in a month and I would be glad to let you know how it turns out. It was only $200 so i figured I still have enough time that its worth the gamble.

My coworker ordered from light in the box and she LOVED her dress, great material, perfect fit (they customize to your measurements). I'm seriously considering getting my dress from there.

I ordered my dress from Amazon for $61. There were hundreds of reviews and several pictures from previous buyers wearing theirs and the details, so I felt totally comfortable ordering! That said, I looked at several websites including Dressilyme and dhgate. Most of them are replicas to dresses you can find at a boutique. My suggestion is to go to a boutique, see what you like on you, and then google the item number and research!

I'm ordering mine online as well. I went to a shop with my mom and tried on a ton of dresses. I like the way the dresses looked on me, but my mind and my heart kept going back to the dress online. I think I will try on a few more dresses in bridal shops before I make my final decision. I'm pretty sure, I'm going with the one online though.

Just be careful on ALIEXPRESS and DHGATE , what you'll get and what the pic looks like on the site is totally different. I started out online but ended up beating the pavement and it was worth it. Paid waaaay more than I initally started out thinking I would because the online dresses looked so good and was cheap but like the old saying goes, you get what you pay for!

My sister got her dress on eBay and it was gorgeous!!

Yep, bought mine from grace loves lace. Heard nothing but good things about the site. Can't wait to get my dress. Not sure what's considered cheap, but it was I thought it was a pretty good deal compared to what I was looking at. Good luck!

This is what i ordered. They are making ot to my measurements. I have alrwady received an email from them asking my total height. Im crossingy fingers this is what i get. Cuz im seriously in love with this dress!

I ordered on dhgate it wasn't exact obviously but it was nice. I ultimately ended up with another dress and the dress from dhgate I cut it short and it will now be my party dress once first dance and dinner and all that fun stuff is over. Eta: just know it's a gamble when you order online.
