Has anybody taken a pre wedding vacation with FH/FW?

Yes, we've done quite a bit of traveling since getting engaged but we're probably done now until the honeymoon. FH was in his brother's wedding in Illinois so we traveled there, then one of his good friends was getting married in Toronto the next week so we hopped on a plane and spent a very fun and interesting week in Canada! Then we recently took a long weekend to New York for my birthday and a concert!

We are! We actually booked a trip to Disney for my son's birthday before we got engaged, but I'm so excited to get a break before the pre-wedding craziness starts a couple months later. It'll be nice to give my son some undivided attention for a while and have fun with FH and my son without stress at home.

We went to the fingerlakes and Niagara falls in June, which is when we usually vacation. So relaxing. I think this is a great idea about a month out from the wedding when things get crazy if you can afford it. We also did our yearly trip to NYC with my dad and brother in August which was nice as well.

We got engaged while on vacation in Paris--i had no idea it was happening! it was so nice to be in a little bubble for a few days right after. H and i travel together a fair bit, we do a lot of weekend road trips to his family cottage or to nearish spots.
