Handwritten or typed thank you cards?

My handwriting is TERRIBLE, is it awful to print a personalized message in the thank you cards for a bridal shower and /or wedding?

We did both we did a generic thank you for all the card and we will write in something for each person
My hand writing is not great also but I feel that the hand written part means more

I think they should be handwritten. If you don’t want to write them, type them up and give it to a friend to do. Heck, I’d love to write them for you. Lol! 😊

Honestly, I would maybe print out messages for some and handwrite some. I feel like some people will actually read them ( like old school/ older people maybe) so they would appreciate handwritten notes. Whereas some younger guests might look at it real quick and no big deal if it was a typed response.
