Hello, I am diying our cord and was wondering how long the cord needed to be!?

    I googled the same thing, they said to cut the ribbons/ cords at 6 feet. It will get smaller with braiding it and it needs to be long enough to go around your hand a few times and still be loose enough to slide out of after the ceremony

    I too read the same thing online, apparently, no less than 6 feet is the best length!

    I used 5 different ribbons! The shortest ribbon was 6 feet to start but it's a lot shorter now! I'm hoping it's long enough now that it's braided! This is what my braided cord looks like!Hand fasting cord 1

    Thank you!! I am going to try to paint my signs and I was thinking of doing a diy photo booth but I'm not 100% on that yet!
