Halloween/Gothic wedding

We're planning to have a wedding on Halloween, leaning toward elegant Gothic (think Sleepy Hollow, Phantom of the Opera, etc) with some Halloween touches. Would you enjoy this as a guest? What elements would you add if you were planning something like this?

YOU COULD PUT LITTLE MINI PUMPKINS ON THE TABLES AS CENTERPIECES AND CUT THE TOPS OUT OF THEM SO YOU CAN PUT IN A CANDLE YOU MAKE THEM AS FAVORS AS WELL. BUT THE HALLOWEEN IDEA IS GREAT. OYU COULD ALSO MAKE A DESSERT BAR FOR THE KIDS IF THERES ANY. AND INSTEAD OF SAYING I DO YOU COULD SAY I BOO.

GOOD LUCK AND HOPE IT'S A GREAT DAY.

YOU CAN ALSO PUT ON EACH PLATE FOR YOUR GUEAT A LITTLE EYE MASK AS A LITTLE FAVOR AS WELL.

I am working on several fall themed weddings and one Halloween theme VERY elegant Goth!

We are doing Black baccarra roses, white & Picasso calla lily and adding in touches of rich purple accents.

Tables for the bar area are fun black satin tied with Lime green wraps and topped with gothic inspired top hats filled with Picasso calla lily ( white with purple center)

Reception decor is elegant Black satin cloths with white calla in trumpet vase and red & purple votives and silver rimmed plates and crystal.

Accents of tall twisted branches set in large black urns with silver spiders and sparkling webs ( think Tim Burtons Corpse Bride)

all uplit with purple and silver lighting to make shapes on the walls.

use black scrolled seating cards and have an amazing wedding cake as the focal.

Our version is day of the dead Chic with a topper of a bride and groom skeleton and tiny smiling skulls on each tier with fresh roses and purple mini dianthus.

Your guest will have a ball!

That’s what we are doing! Victorian soft gothic. Black, deep dark purple, gold, formal attire and masks at the photo booth for fun! Little things like metal small animal skulls in gold here and there. Staying elegant. Not cheesy. And we aren’t having anyone under 18 at our wedding or we wouldn’t afford to have on. Most of our families have 2-3 kids and we can’t do 300+ guests. So it’s adults only and that should add a lot to the party itself!
