Halloween wedding

Thought this meme was funny because I really wanted a Halloween wedding... I still might do it. Nothing is set in stone yet!

Yeah if I did it it would definitely be toned down. And probably the weekend before Halloween, that way people hopefully won't dress up lol! Halloween has always and will always be my favorite

I worked for a catering company in college and I worked a Halloween wedding. Dry ice was incorporated in everything it could. Colors where black and grey it was creepy but totally unique and awesome! I worked a lot of weddings but that one definitely stands out.

I got married on Halloween. We didn't have a Halloween theme. It was so much fun. We added in a few Halloween touches though.

I think it would be super fun to go to a Halloween wedding I'm just not sure it would be practical for everyone and the only downside really IMO is that you would likely have people who couldn't/wouldn't come because of conflicting plans or other issues. I really LOVE Halloween and even if I got to wear my costume and such I would still be a little sad that I was missing my usual favorite things to do. Also, people with kids (esp young kids) might be unwilling to miss taking them around to be at a wedding. If I had kids at home I don't know that I would be ok with it. Also, for us we couldn't come at all if my parents weren't able/willing to watch our dog (even then I'm not really sure I'd want to leave him). He gets super stressed with so many people ringing to door and we have to medicate him to calm him down. There is no way we could leave him in our home alone as he would be panicking all night and I would never do that to him. So to me while it sounds like fun I personally wouldn't choose it just because I know it could cause issues for so many people that I would want to be there.

One of my BMs had a halloween themed wedding and it totally worked! She had a candy bar with some spooky decorations. Her centerpieces were small pumpkins and lanterns and the BMs wore black and the MOH wore red. (The wedding colors were red and black.)The flowers were roses. She had a cute little skeleton couple as the cake topper and her wedding cake had subtle spider webs painted on it (in white frosting so you could only see them if you were up close.)

It was so subtle and tastefully done that everyone loved it!

Oh, and her and her FH entrance song into the reception was Monster Mash haha.

We had a toned down Halloween wedding, just didn't have it on Halloween. We were thinking about having it on Halloween but decided not to because of 1) we had kids attend our wedding snd I'm sure they would rather be trick or treating and not at a wedding. 2) New England weather is so unpredictable, we didn't want to take a chance and have cold weather (this backfired on us since our wedding day was cold weather).
