Half wig or full wig

Army Wife, Navy Sailor, on December 26, 2011 at 5:48 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 14

Ladies I need your thoughts. I half shoulder length hair and I cant find any hair styles I like. So I was thinking doing a half wig or full wig but not sure on how I can pull the look off

Has anyone worn a wig or have none anyone that has worn one.

A wig could work but you would be limited to certain styles. Maybe consider a sew-in and that why you have more option on styling. Look on

http://universalsalons.com/ you might find something you like on there.

    I like 1/2 wigs..

OMG...today I was in the store trying to buy weave and almost had a panic attack! there were like 4 double rows of hair to choose from...This is my first weave. I usually wear ponytails. There are way too many to choose from..I left the store

Human hair wigs would be best as synthetic you can't really do too much in terms of styling, your pretty set in that style. Lace fronts are good as well but i don't glue or tape, i blend the edge of the lace wig in with my edges and it looks natural. A sew in is also a good option as you can style that in pretty much anyway depending on what type of hair you are using. If you are going for a long look you can try milky way que which is pretty good or even chocolate remi or any other remi or 100% human. It all depends on what your price point is. If you go with a wig, its tons of options to choose from in that aspect.

It depends on whether your doing a wig, or a sew (with tracks). Wigs I know can be anywhere from $24.99 to $89.99 depending on the style and brand. Sew-in hair depends on what brand, length, and style. I know personally the milky way que along with premium too run about $34.99 - $44.99 for the long lengths (i.e 14 - 18 inches). The remi hair tends to be a bit more expensive and can run anywhere from $60-$120)

No problem chica. I've learned by experience and friends what hair is good and which isn't. As far as a wig being cheaper, if you find a really good human hair curly wig, it'll probably be in the range, all the way up to $90. With a sew-in, depending on what type of hair you get, and who you get to sew the hair in, you could spend about $100 or more. I live in houston and my hairdresser charges me $60 and I usually end up spending about $40 (or a little more depending on the style i'm getting) on human hair.

Lace front wigs have an area around the front that's lacy, to conceal the hair line and blend. So you can part it and it looks like the scalp, but is actually the wig.

Try hisandher.com. I order braiding hair from there, and they have reasonable prices, and offer all kinds of products. Their human hair quality is good, the prices range, and you can get nice hair for a decent price.

I have a lot of research to do I see. But I have learnedly that if I go the wig route a lace front is the way to go
