Hair/makeup vendors: individual from Instagram vs team?

I hired a team from a local hair salon and they're able to travel to the location of where the ceremony and reception will be held. I've talked to the make-up artist and she knows what I want done. I'm waiting to hear from the hair stylist this week. When I 1st spoke to the manager, she told me these 2 ladies work together for weddings and are amazing! Just the reviews on their page were highly recommended to anyone in the salon.

I really wanted to hire a makeup artist I found via Instagram, but I couldn't find a hairstylist that I really liked (I also don't have a large bridal party, so it was hard to meet a lot of people's minimums), so I ended up booking a company that does both hair and makeup.

I found a hairstylist who did both, actually found by recommendation on here, so I reached out to her and booked her. She couldn't fit the hair and makeup for the size of my bridal party, so I separately found a makeup artist on Thumbtack and looked at her Instagram and read reviews. So both are individual vs. a team. The teams in my state charged outrageous prices so I was more comfortable supporting individuals who didn't charge me like crazy.
