Hairdresser doing my hair as a gift

My hairdresser is doing my hair for my wedding as her gift to me. She has been doing my hair for over 12 years. I'm wondering if I would tip her for it. I know it's a gift but I just think about her giving up a whole Saturday doing my hair.

I would give her a gift card or a gift you think she'll like. A tip seems kind of strange to me if she's a wedding guest.

She is a wedding guest. I should have mentioned that. Maybe a gift card with a nice thank you note.

If that's her gift it seems strange to give her a tip. Give her a gift. I would say something nice for her job. But definitely give her a thank you gift.

I would not tip since she's a guest at the wedding. She's not giving up a whole Saturday to do your hair; she's giving up a whole Saturday for your wedding. I'd buy her a gift (bottle of wine, gift card, etc) and give her a thank you note.

I would tip her, a lot. Probably twice as much as normal.
