Hair up or down?

I cant seem to make a decision about my hair. I had a hair trial and have attached a picture of it. My inspiration was from a Stacey Keibler updo. I fell in love with it online. I cant seem to make a decision about my hair. I had a hair trial and have attached a picture of it. My inspiration was from a Stacey Keibler updo. I fell in love with it online. However, I'm not sure if it is the style for me. The reason I say this is because I plan on wearing statement earrings (picture attached). I think I can pull them off with an updo because my dress is strapless.

However, I hate my arms and have a huge complex with them. So, in my brain I keep telling myself if I wear my hair down it will take away from my arms and will almost hide them a bit. I have long hair, but I realize this probably sounds insane. I was 210lbs at one point in life, so I think I will always feel insecure with my body. I've attached a picture of a half up style I like, I would just add a braid.

I've heard hair that is down is a pain especially with outside weddings. Am I crazy to think wearing my hair down would help me feel more secure with my arms?

I actually really like the side braid!! I bet a stylist could dress it up so it doesn't seem so "every day."

I rock the side bride a lot myself! My hair dresser is going to fancy it up, but I also want to look like myself. I will probably do a low side ... bun? Or something because I know myself well enough to know that it will irritate me to have it hanging down all night. Here are some pics of a low side pony that might help!

I like both. I had an outdoor wedding and wore my hair half up/half down. I was only hot during the ceremony, it was a bit sunny. Other than that it didn't bother my, but we also had a tent which had air conditioning installed. I couldn't tell you if they used it, but I wasn't hot or cold most of the day. My hair also held really well with enough hair spray.

Do what makes you feel most comfortable and the most like yourself. I changed my hair style from my trial right before my wedding, and I LOVED it and felt so good about myself all day.

Love the earrings and the dress - you look great!

I personally think it'd look nice down or half up.

I love your earrings and dress also! Beautiful! I can't decide which hairstyle I like better either! I am going with mine mostly down but back somewhat with curls so I'm partial to that but the updo looks very pretty on you. Maybe have it down but with a plan on how to pin it up if you decide to later on (or visa versa). That way you can have both!

I love the side braid, and I'm a huge advocate of being yourself. I think you look stunning and elegant with both of the updo photos here. I hate to encourage hiding yourself! I also am a believer in feeling comfortable, though. I think the side braid goes well with the country theme and being you. Smiley smile

I like your hair down. You have such beautiful hair! Why is it so much easier deciding everyone else's hairstyle?

I think you should wear it down and curled with some of the sides pinned back. Your hair is beautiful and so are you!

Definitely down. I loved the second photo hairstyle. Gorgeous style.

Your hair is beautiful, doesn't look thin at all. The side braid may work for a country style wedding
