Ok ladies! Let me see REAL brides with REAL hair styles. Please post your pictures of your trial hair, or wedding hair on -you-, a real person and not models online. 😊

I'm a bit frustrated because I see things online I like, but either these chicks have the thickest longest hair ever, or they are wearing clip ins (whether it be extensions or braids).. I was thinking about a low chignon with a braid across the top so I had my normal stylist try it.. and while I like it. It just doesn't have that UMPH. You know? I've been considering instead a side swept over one shoulder style instead.

    Here’s my picture from my hair trial...it’s all my hair, but I have a LOT of hair. I think the curls will be a little tighter on the day off so they stay longer, but I loved it!

    I love your hair! I am hoping I can get this updo as well, but I am not sure I have the volume for this. Hopefully I can grow my hair a bit more too before the wedding in September.

    I don't have super thick hair these days (pretty average, naturally curly hair) but I had considered doing the extensions/clip ins for volume. SO GLAD I didn't! I just did a low bun with some pieces hanging out of the front. (Fancy flower bobby pins from etsy!)

    This was me on my wedding. I was torn between up or down so my HMUA suggested this. I had to wear extensions to add more volume to my hair. Goodluck and let us know what you decide on!

    I wore a messy updo with lots of volume and curls with a side braid integrated into the style. Here are pictures of different angles.

    What you had is more that I'm leaning towards now. Is your sparkle a comb or a clip?

    The pictures I put down (I know models, lmao) are what I think is going to work with my hair. And to be honest it IS more my style.. heck even looking at my profile picture my hair is pulled off to the side, lol.

    It was a comb that she secured with hair pins. I kind of knew what worked best for my face shape and that was having it side swept and down. I love the second picture! Extensions are awesome if you want that big full look.

    I honestly didn’t love my hair that much, wanted a big loose romantic braid and I have thick hair and hoped that she would be able to pull it off but even after I asked her to make it look larger this is what I ended up with. It still looked nice but not what I had imagined!

    I have very thick and long hair so I’m probably going to get a little trim before my wedding because the bum was so heavy and I felt like it was too low - it is the only think I’m having her change, a lower bump and higher bun. Haha. The front is wispy and soft. The back is messy curls and braids with two braids along one side of different styles and sizes for contrast.

    I think that's probably the best approach! Sometimes the more expectations you have, the more you open yourself up to disappointment. I dunno if I can stay away from looking, so my plan is to say half up, half down, make it look good and here are 5-6 styles I like for guidance, but don't feel pressured to match anything in particular. I'm not an expert, so I think "guided trust" is a beautiful thing.
