Hi guys, yesterday I had my hair and makeup trial at the salon my whole bridal party is going to. I absolutely LOVE my hair and I think she did an amazing job with it, it also held up great throughout the day while I was gardening 😂. However, I’m kind of conflicted on my makeup application and not sure that I love it. My stylist said we can change anything I want on the day off but I’m just not sure her techniques match what I want. I did my own makeup afterwards to compare the two. I only used what I had, but I would for sure get some more glowy products for the day of and I would practice much more before the wedding. I would love some opinions and help as I am so torn on what to do (go with the stylist doing my makeup, or doing my own. ) Thanks in advance!

Just beautiful! The hair is on point! I like the makeup but to be honest it looks more like an every day makeup look more than a bridal look. I don't know if you wear makeup on the regular or if this is more of the look you want but I think maybe to make it look more bridal you might need a little bit more of a bold lip or go with a little bit bolder eye shadow colors. I know it may seem like a lot but it won't show up in pictures as much otherwise. Just my opinion. You will be beautiful either way!

The hair is beautiful, but i agree with a previous poster that she's more of a hairstylist than a makeup artist.
You look 10 years older in the pictures of where she did your make up.
I would suggest finding someone else or trying to see if she's able to tone down how heavy she is with the blush and I think your eyes look brighter without the heavy eyeliner on top. Show her what you did and see if she can do something similar.

I like your make up in the green shirt more than black. Your blush is lopsided in the black. I also feel like the color palette in the green shirt works better with you. That being said that photo of you in profile in the black shirt where your looking down is beautiful.

Your hair looks beautiful! I like your makeup in the green shirt. I would just darken and brighten it a bit while accentuating your brows a little more to really stand out in the wedding photos.

I think the professional make Up looks much better in pictures. She did it that way because of your dress being light.
You are glowing in the picture with the professional makeup, in my opinion. Your pictures with the professional makeup will be fantastic! Again...just my opinion.

Your application is lovely, but looks more everyday, not special event or wedding.
Either way, you will be a beautiful bride
Your hair is perfect!
