Had the worst wedding dress shopping experience *vent*

I don't wish this upon anyone! I went dress shopping this Saturday and the place we went was awful! First off they gave my MOH shit cause we had "too many people" even though I called ahead and they said the amount I had was fine. Then the consultant made me feel bad because I am looking at dresses...

I don't wish this upon anyone! I went dress shopping this Saturday and the place we went was awful! First off they gave my MOH shit cause we had "too many people" even though I called ahead and they said the amount I had was fine. Then the consultant made me feel bad because I am looking at dresses last minute... my wedding is in May...? They wouldn't let me look through the dresses and told me that most there were out of my price range (even though I didn't give a range) and then said if I was looking at the same dresses in New York I would be paying triple the amount so consider myself lucky. To top it all off, at dinner our waitress overheard me talking about it and told me she used to work in the shop and the owner is just a fraud who only cares about the sale and upcharges out the ass. Also, her so called "designs", she didn't even make them. Ugh cant wait to write a review today. rant over.

    Ehhh if you're last minute so am I... but I know people who managed 6 month engagements and found dresses! I'm going tomorrow for the first time..I hope you have a better experience next time!

    @becca it is Mary's in Annapolis, MD. I read mixed reviews but most were positive so I figured I'd give it a try - since I am tough when it comes to stuff like this. Nope I had watery eyes when modeling off the dresses.

    I sorry you went threw this. But i would have told them how i felt . And you as a paying customer have the wright to go elsewhere . And leave them with a review so people know how they are.

    Oh my gosh I just went straight to the 1 star reviews on google and so many people went through the same thing. Why the heck didn't I do that in the first place. This lady is just cray!!

    Oh my! So sorry you went through this on your first dress shopping trip. Be assured there are better places to do business with, who will also treat you kindly and fairly.

    That is ridiculous. Hope you find a store that treats you way better! Btw, I am getting married one day before you and I bought my dress last weekend. Soooo I don't think this is quite last minute...Good luck!

    I don't think I would consider it late. I have an appt this Friday and have not even looked at dresses so far. Im completely fine with it.

    Well I see you are in my area and I can only guess which boutique you are referring to if you were someplace local. If it is the one I am thinking of that place has had a reputation for years!!

    Sorry you had to go through such poor customer service. I wonder how they continue to stay in business with that lousy attitude.
