I just wanted to know if it was common for guests to change their RSVP? So far I've had 7 guests to initially RSVPd yes switch to no.

We had 5 guests cancel. 2 let me know the weekend before as my cousins wife fell down the stairs and really hurt herself so that was ok Cuz I was able to change my final numbers. 2 told me the day before that they couldn't come. And one ended up having the flu that day and couldn't come .

At least they did this now so you can have accurate final numbers instead of just not showing up.

It happened with one couple. They RSVPed the day before we asked for them back using the RSVP. They canceled the day after our final payment was due. Nothing you can do though. It is better they changed it instead of being a no show since you would have already paid for them.
