Guests Cancelling 2 Days Prior

Ugh! That is sooo annoying. Especially because you probably already locked in your final count with catering. Try to focus on marrying your partner and not sweat the stuff you can’t control. I know it’s easier said than done but your day will be perfect!

We've had people cancel on us this week and our wedding is this Saturday as well. My attitude about it is oh well no sweat off my brow. Plus I've been to plenty of weddings where people rsvpd and never show up, they didn't even give a heads up, so we are already prepared mentally for people to back out the day of. But I totally understand your frustration especially if you have plated meals. We are having a buffet so I see it as well we will just have plenty of food for people to get seconds if they want. I know it's annoying but I guarantee you will have a beautiful wedding and not even think twice about those who didn't make it.

View Quoted Comment Thanks. Ours is a buffet as well. It just happened back to back over the last couple of days and then a groomsman called me and I immediately thought he was gonna back out too. Luckily it was a wardrobe issue that can be fixed.

I think I heard once you can take the uneaten plates home but not sure how that works with buffet. Congrats on your big day!!
