Guest list conundrum

Rebekah, on September 17, 2019 at 8:47 AM Posted in Planning 0 4
I had two very close friends in high school (C/O 2012). They are both married now, and each one invited the whole group to their celebrations, the most recent (Friend 2) just a few months ago. I'm close to the friend who got married a few years ago (Friend 1), but I haven't really talked to Friend 2 (unless Friend 1 initiates). I would love for Friend 1 to come to the wedding, but I'm more willing to cut Friend 2 since we're not close. But she invited me to her recent wedding, and Friend 1 wouldn't know anybody there. Any advice?

Friend 1 would be invited along with their spouse right? I say just invite Friend 1 and their spouse and they'll be fine. Friend 2 may have also felt the same way about inviting you to their wedding since you're only really friends through Friend 1.

I mean it's another 2 ppl - hopefully that's not making or breaking your budget or list. I would jsut invite them both. If not, friend 1 will be with her spouse, so she'll be fine even if they dont' know anyone else.

    Hey Rebekah!

As the PPs mentioned, will you be inviting Friend 1's spouse to your wedding? If so, you can take this in to consideration. He/she will know someone there!
