Please help. My Matron of honor told me her mother is so excited to come to my wedding. I didn't even plan on inviting her. I told her we were tight on our budget and then she said she would pay for her mom to come. I never even considered having her mom come. I assumed her one guest would be her husband. I just cant have her inviting 2 guest, its not fair to my friends who arent even allowed to invite anyone. Also i have been having people say "Don't forget to send me an invitation". Those people I'm not even close to. I dont know what to do. I just can't afford to go over my budget and only want close friends and family. What should i do?

This is a lot more common than I thought! Since my engagement I've had random people at work asking where their invite is. I've tried to be as kind as possible in saying, "sorry, we're keeping it to close friends and family." But what happens when I do pass out invitations and some people gets offended? Do I invite my bosses? My fiancee and I are paying for it ourselves and are on a pretty tight budget. Any past experience with this?

I am having this same problem and i am really upset! The groom has many people asking where thier invitation is and assuming they are invited. He even has one friend who invited another couple to our wedding!!

Im so bothered and cant believe people have the nerve (or lack of manners) to do this.
