Guest book ideas!

I don't want just a book that is thrown in a bookshelf and forgotten. I want something different that could be shown off. Some ideas I have came across!

We are also doing the thumbprint display. It’ll make a great addition to the one I have with my students names.

Does anyone have any ideas how the 4th pic was made?! Looks like picture was taken on the wedding day, but signatures are all around it

I bought a lovely drawer that has index cards in it. (it's from Etsy) People can fill out their contact information and put it back in the drawer. The idea is this gives me everyone's contact information for Christmas card lists, and other big events that I want to send an invite to. Makes sending the thank you cards out easier because you'll have everyone's information right there.

I’m doing a bench! It’s a wedding surprise to my fiancé and I thought it would be super original! The close up picture is what my looks like and the other picture is my inspiration.

Holy cow! This is the best idea I’ve seen! I’ve already got my wish tree but color me envious. I love multipurpose!

I saw it on Pinterest early on our wedding planning process and I fell in love with the idea! We kept looking for a bench for our bedroom since moving in together and we couldn’t find anything that screamed us so we kept waiting and looking. Then about a year ago, I found that picture and I showed my mil and she found someone to make it for me. I can not wait to see his face when he sees it and also what it looks like with our guest names on it!

Your mil rocks, she must’ve thought it was a cool idea too. Imagine showing it to younger generations in your family for years to come, it could become a family heirloom! I’d want to pass something like that down, it tells your love story through the words of your guests.

I love my mil! She’s like a mom to me. I think it’s a great piece to pass down! I just hope that people understand that they can write their names on it. I know my family will be hesitate to write on a piece of furniture. Also I don’t know what pen to use since we are putting a coat on top after the wedding to seal it all in. I don’t want the writing to get destroyed by the top coat.

I’d honestly ask a craft store or furniture store specialist. I’m not sure what kind of pen would survive a top coat! You could also test run pens on a junk piece of wood first.

We are doing the heart drop guest book (we were going to do the polaroid guest book but have heard mixed reviews). Ours is from hobby lobby ($29 Dollars) and we painted the hearts to our wedding colors.

My fiance is a musician, so we're buying a used guitar in one of our wedding colors and having all of our guests "autograph" it Smiley smile just a fun little twist. We didn't want a guestbook sitting on a shelf collecting dust either. We're planning on putting it in a glass case and hanging it up in our house.
