Not really wanting to do just a guest book. Any guest book alternative ideas?

We are doing a phone book. Guests will fill out their own page with important information which will later become a phone book. We do have all their addresses on an excel sheet from the save the dates and the invites but it would be nice to have them written down!

We did a "sign the bottle" guestbook. We chose 4 bottles of the same wine (we got a professional to help us identify what would be a good 'fancy' choice). That way we can see how it ages "alongside" our marriage. Guests got the chance to sign the bottles. It's the first time I saw a 'guest book' actually filled (pun also intended)!

Another version is "message in a bottle" where the bottles are empty and guests are supposed to write notes.

My best friend did a Landshark Surfboard and they have it hanging in their basement bar. I'm pretty sure we are doing football jerseys!

I got our guest book from BBB. It is a picture frame. In the middle will be a pic of FH and I and then the guests each write on a wooden heart and drop it in the frame around the pic. I liked this because then after the wedding we hang it up on the wall and have it forever instead of just a book that gets lost around the house.

I found one on Pinterest where people sign rocks instead!
My fiancé and I are big into fishing so we’re going to get those smooth creek stones (skipping stones) for people to sign. THEN putting them in a wooden mold of a “T” (last initial) and filling it with resin!

We're doing a drop in frame. Instead of hearts, our wood drop in shapes will be stars and people will sign the stars before dropping in the frame.

I found a super cool idea from here and etsy has a bunch of options for it. But a photobook, so guests can take a Polaroid of themselves and then place it in the book, sign their names and any words they want. Love this idea.

Back in my days as a wedding planner, I also used to paint custom canvases for weddings, anniversary parties, baby showers, etc. for guests to sign. You can easily do something similar as an alternative guestbook.

I’m from fabulous L.A. and FH is from a small town in Mississippi... but we live and met in San Diego. So we’re going to use a book that shows pictures of San Diego from years ago compared to pictures from more present times. We’ll have colored sharpies and guests can flip to whichever page they want and write what they’d like.

I ordered a canvas with our pic and a quote on Etsy but I ended up not liking it. So, I found a person that can design the same thing as the canvas on a pdf file and I got it printed on a foamcore board, much better

Im thinking of doing a picture of a wooden tree with wooden stars. Guests will sign the branches, leaves, and stars.

FH and I were given a blank wooden Jenga game with 72 blocks to use as a guest book! 72 blocks each block has 4 sides we are at 250 guests so our 288 sides will work perfectly!
