Not really wanting to do just a guest book. Any guest book alternative ideas?

I saw a bunch of things on Etsy! Definitely look there!! I found so many ideas that I have no clue which one I am going to buy.

We just aren't doing one at all. Things I've seen on Pinterest are giant Jenga blocks, using the photobooth prints if you are having one, a bench that people sign, a puzzle, a frame that has little hearts people sign and drop in, an actual picture frame, etc. Basically, anything people can sign/write on.

I have been thinking of a creative alternative as well. I have gone to weddings that have done:

Thumb print trees (ink pads & sign name with Sharpie), signing a wooden board, signing name on Jenga pieces (one had us write advice on the back), and painting names onto a canvas with a heart.

We're doing a "Words of Wisdom/Advice Cards Box" instead of a guestbook.

Daughter & SIL love games of all types, so they did Jenga pieces. She didn't want something to hang on the wall, but figured this way, when they play Jenga over the years (and, hopefully, one day with their kids) they'll have sweet little reminders of their wedding guests. We tested different pens at Michael's to find ones with a fine enough tip that also didn't bleed into the wood grain. She had the pieces all in a pretty basket with 3-4 pens and a small sign explaining what to do. (We also took the Jenga pieces/pens to the large rehearsal/welcome dinner, so a bunch of people had a chance to sign them then.)

We are having the mini polaroid cameras and a big scrapbook type album for our guest to snap a quick picture, tape it down, and leave a little note or just their names.

I’m super excited to do our Jenga Box guest book! We are going to have them sign a piece and give advice. And then we can play with them for years to come!!

Were buying this guest book alternative from etsy.com!! ❤ were going to have guests write their name and address and a possible message. Well use this as an address work when the wedding is over to send Christmas cards and such. Very cute box!

We’re doing signing stones. Bed Bath & Beyond has a set by Lillian Rose I bought. Guests sign a stone and drop it in a decorative glass vase. It’s different and makes for a cute decoration for the house. It even comes with a sign that explains to guests the idea of signing stones.

We are doing a guest book painting station, I bought one 48" x 36" canvas and bought a bunch of inexpensive acrylic paint and paint brushes and just want everyone to paint a little picture or just their name. I will let you know how it looks afterwards....this could be amazing-or terrible, haha!

Me and my fiancé are going to physically tie a knot at the wedding and display it in a shadow box and then have everyone sign the glass with a white or gold marker

We’re doing something like this but I never thought of wording the sign that way. Love it!

We are having a photo booth which will print out 2 copies. 1 for the people taking the photo & 1 for us. The photo booth attendant will instruct people to sign the photo strip & place them in a customized book to us.

We're doing a variation of this, that way we can incorporate it into our decor and not just have a random book sitting on a shelf.

We are having people sign a canvas portrait of us designed through Miss Design Berry. It looks exactly how we will look on our wedding day and I love it.
