What is everyone doing to have their guests sign other than just the normal guest book?!

We made it ourselves. We got a real barrel head from someone on Facebook marketplace for $10, sanded and stained it, then painted the design on. Now that it’s signed, we’ll seal it whenever we get around to it lol.

We will have a deck of cards that will allow guest to sign the backside. We love playing card games, so we’ll be using the deck often.

I’m from L.A. and FH is from Mississippi. But we met and live in San Diego. Our wedding venue in Vegas has a 1920’s vintage lounge/speakeasy vibe. So we’re playing on that with some of the decor. Our guest book is a “San Diego Then and Now” book that has pictures of popular places throughout San Diego from the past and present. So it works with the vintage feel of our wedding.

We’ll have permanent markers (red and blue) for guests to write a well wish on any page that they choose. Guest book alternatives 1

I'm going to get wooden hearts like these and attaching ribbons in our wedding colors. Then I'll provide different color sharpies for people to sign and decorate them as our first Christmas ornaments. Our wedding is a few weeks after Christmas, but I thought it would still be a fun, functional way to do a guest book that goes with a winter wedding.

We purchased a Sailboat model and are having our guests sign the sail. I'm repainting our boat now.

We are ordering a large wood letter H from Etsy and are going to mount it onto a piece of mat board with a frame, people will be able to sign the letter and the mat! I am ordering acrylic to put in the frame later and we will hang it in our house.

My FH is a HUGE hockey fan and is obsessed with the New York Rangers. We're having 2 New York Ranger's hockey sticks at the wedding for our guests to sign that we will display in our home after the wedding.

Love that idea! We almost decided on something similar but we were going to put them in a frame with a photo from the wedding and our wedding date, but we decided to do hockey sticks instead b/c my FH is obsessed with hockey.

Thanks! My mom actually helped me with the idea. I already have a full bookcase so I didn’t want to go traditional; she reminded me that my cousins had a Jenga guestbook, so cards inevitably worked their way in to the conversation and there’s no turning back now for me LOL!

This is what I’m considering and strangely enough, same last name.

We're having a photo booth during the cocktail hour/early reception. Unlimited prints, so we'll ask everyone to put a copy of their photos in a big book and sign next to it Smiley smile
