Guest book alternatives

We’re getting the top part of a whiskey barrel with our last name and date of the wedding engraved on it!

I ordered this from Etsy but I left out photos so there is more room to write

We DIYed a whiskey barrel lid. We’re from Kentucky, so super appropriate.

We did Canvas and Permanent 🖊.

The 5 ct pack of 16x20 at Hobby Lobby is always $9.99.

I wish that I had used at least one more.


We used 2 and it doesn’t look like everyone had a place to ✍️.

DH hung them on either side of the Black and White Canvas of us 💏.

We have a sign with our last name and date on it. This is the sample photo from the Etsy shop, our design is below it. We've already received it, just haven't taken a picture of it yet

I found at target like a wish jar that everyone signs. I think it's about $35 looks super cute idea!

We're doing a Best Wishes/Advice page. We're putting one at each place setting and people will fill them out and leave them for us. This way we get a personal note from each person who attended. We're planning on reading them on our one year anniversary to get a good laugh or to get teary eyed. I designed ours in a Word document because I couldn't find one that was customized enough (like most of them mention dancing but we're not having that at our wedding, or it says to draw the state you're from but almost all of our guests live here) It looks like this:

We had our guests sign a vintage globe

We got married at an aviation museum and our theme was vintage travel.

We had a photo booth and our guests left us notes and signed their photo strips.
