My FH and I just got home from building the tuxs, etc. and getting everything set up for the groomsmen at Men's Wearhouse. That being said, how much was each rental for your groomsmen? I'm trying to figure out if what we got was too much or not... Why is this so stressful???? Also- I tried searching...

Also- I tried searching for past discussions on this and only found one from 2012. I'm assuming prices have changed since then lol

We priced out MW and it was much pricier than Macys-which is where we ended up going for the tux rentals. I chose a Calvin Klein tux and it includes everything but the underwear (literally-pants, jacket, shirt, socks, shoes, cuff links, lapel, cufflinks, etc). Ours was $215 for it, but they have different suits you can pick from for different prices. Also, you can pick up the suit at any Macys and drop it off at any store, so anyone flying in can pick it up at a local store instead of traveling with it. Also includes damage, so there is no additonal fee for any spills, tears, etc.

We went to Men's Warehouse, and when I let the guys go by themselves, they got every extra they offered and it was around $220. Once we simplified it, because the guys really didn't want to look like they were going to prom, we got it down to $170 with shoes. Plus groom free!

I went to a local formal wear rental shop and we were priced about $110 without jackets and shoes. It would have been about $150 if we went with jackets and shoes. The shop we're using also does a free rental for the groom but they said they can also just divide the discount among all of the GM. I have an OOT GM and our shop said all he has to do is get measured at a formal wear shop and call his measurements in to the store so that might be an option for your OOT GM if you find a local shop.
