Groomsmen Attire - Black, Grey, or Navy

Grey!!! or navy is nice too. I told FH to wear whatever color he wanted within the neutrals. He had said he wanted to do either black or dark gray.

All the guys wore gray with purple ties

I'm feeling a little placated seeing several others are having trouble finding suits in the proper colors...I thought I aS missing something when FH and I were shown the (in my opinion) limited colors available at Meb's Wearhouse and other rental stores. Like...you only sell one thing. Could you carry it in more than four colors? Navy and light gray should be reasonable choices. I was wondering how women have such a wide selection of colors and styles, and men get "dark gray, black, blacker, and blackest"?

FH said grey suits

FH found a silver, yes lady silver, tux he wanted. However, it is not longer made. One shop we went to said it was only produced for like 6 months. It was called silver swagger. Probably going to end up with grey. Including a pic of the silver tux.

We're doing navy with cognac brown shoes. I saw a previous post that said they didn't know where to rent navy... try Theblacktux.com I think their navy looks nice. They also have an option where you can 'try it' out so they'll ship you the suit and he can wear it to another wedding or just around the house to see how it feels. I think he's going to try it first before we go with them.

Grey tuxedos. FH has a very fun velvety blue jacket for reception. He doesn't have a shirt, shoes or accessories yet and I'm nervous as heck.

Our Dude of Honor wore a navy suit he already owned. We had him wear the blue tie instead of the red tie (those being the two ties he owned) so that he wouldn't clash with the MOH's burgundy dress or the pink flowers. But since we had no groom or other male attendants, we didn't have to worry about his matching anyone else.

I like grey the best. Although the men did not wear suits for our wedding.

Gray suits for my boys with purple tie and very light lavender shirt for groom. For the GM...in white shirt and purple now tie

Gray suits for the guys. The bridesmaid dresses were navy, so the groomsmen had navy ties and my hubby wore an ivory one to go with my dress.

We went with grey. H wore an ivory vest/tie, the GM wore grey vests with purple ties.

H's tux was the same color as the GM--it just looks different because of the different lighting in the pictures.

I really wanted navy, but unfortunately they were not available. We ended up buying 8 grey suits from jos a bank, they had a great sale (buy 1 get 3 free) only spent $1,400 total
