Groomsmen Attire - Black, Grey, or Navy

I love gray- FH looked incredibly handsome when he tried his own in gray!

We are planning on grey suits and navy ties!

They're wearing gray. But any color looks good. Men just look so handsome in suits

They will be in grey. The groom with have a purple vest with a purple tie, the groomsmen will have silver vest with purple tie. At least I think that's what we picked out. It was so long ago now that I don't even remember.

FH is wearing a light grey tux while his groomsmen are wearing charcoal grey. The groomsmen also are wearing ties that are the jade green color of the bridesmaid dresses, but FH is wearing white! It boggled me at first but they said "he has to match your wedding dress, not your bridesmaids!" Silly me!

FH will be in charcoal and the GMs will be in light gray. For an outdoor fall wedding the look is perfect.

Gray suits with navy blue ties... FH is wearing a vest so he stands out.

FH wants to wear navy while GM in dark grey. BM are in plum. I think it might look like to many colors going on with me in white, FH in navy, BM in plum, GM in grey, MOB/MOG in plum as well, Fathers in Grey. I think I would prefer all men to be in Navy, all BM in plum but im not sure what we will end up with.

I wanted navy, but with my bms basically wearing navy, too matchy. I love gray but FH says he will look too fat in it, lol. So I lost to black. But I will probably have gray or navy pocket squares/ties, so there's at least that.

Light grey or Navy.

FH just ordered his and his groomsmen's. They'll all be in black tuxes with black shirts and shoes. The groomsmen have champagne vests/ties, and FH has ivory. Boutonnieres will be comic book roses, so an array of colors.

I love the idea of charcoal gray suits, but my fiance really loved the idea of black tuxes--so his party and our fathers will all probably wear a black tux, white shirt, and a pocket square instead of a boutonniere.

We're having an evening cocktail hour type wedding reception, so a black tux is probably best for that anyway.

FH is wearing navy tux with black trim and GM in black tuxes just like FMP's FH and GM.

Mine where in black tuxes with black shirts...black on black so sexy and chic in my opinion. The GM had dark plum ties and my husband had white. We got so many compliments...traditional but modern and different at the same time

FH and all of the GM will be in a dark grey.

Our GM were in a lighter grey and my husband was in navy. All of them wore ties in shades of peach/orange and they also had patterned pocket squares. My husband was 100 percent in charge of their wardrobes and he knocked it out of the park. I'm a lucky woman. lol

All the guys wore charcoal tuxes. Typically, I think black tuxes are best but with navy dresses, I just thought it was too heavy - plus gray was one of our colors. I really had to fight DH on it because he feels black is the only color tuxes should come in. He was flat out angry that I made them wear gray until the day of when he saw it all put together.

ETA: Despite the Pinterest popularity of gray tuxes, it was a disaster finding them IRL. Out of the 5 catalogs of tuxes the shop had, there was a grand total of 3 gray tuxes, and two of them were really goofy looking. I wasn't in love with the 3rd one, but it was the most normal and the slightly weird details don't show in photos, so they were fine.

Our wedding colors are black, gold and ivory. My FH and his guys are doing basic black, James Bond style tux and the guys on my side (2 bridesmen) are doing light tan suits with light gold vest and tie, which will coordinate well with the light gold dresses the girls are wearing.
