Well now we are short a groomsman. Due to a very BIG argument with my FH ex son in law he out of the wedding. Not sure if FH's granddaughter is going to be a bridesmaid since her dad is no longer in wedding( she is a teenager 15 going on 21) We are hoping she will be in the wedding. Now we have to have another groomsman which we know who it will be but can't ask him until she makes her decision.

We don't want to ask her because we feel her dad needs to tell her he is not going to be in wedding.

Hopefully by mid week we will know her decision because time is getting close.

Just have uneven sides. It'd be so rude to ask someone to replace him this late in the game.

No one said the friendships would end but it could effect them. If you are ok with your friends making you feel like just a fill-in, that's fine but not everyone feels that way.
