Grooms ring engravings!

We'll be engraving a batman symbol on it since he's obsessed with it. Neither one of us are into traditional rings - my engagement ring has monkeys engraved to the sides and the stones are held up by elephant/elephant trunks since I'm obsessed with both. A friend of ours has his nickname on the inside of her ring and vice versa.

I'm having "your Pepper forever" since he refers to me as Pepper from Iron Man. Inside jokes are good.

I'll be getting "Love never fails" engraved on my fiancés wedding band.

We got our wedding date engraved on both our bands.

@minnemiska, that's a great way to ensure neither of you ever forget your anniversary throughout the years. I might steal that idea. Lol!

@OP, I'm just bumping this in case anyone has other ideas, but here's one I just thought of...maybe the title or part of a lyric from your first dance song?

I'll be getting his ring engraved with our wedding date and our nicknames (:

FW and I chose our engravings together -- excerpts from Ruth 1:16, in the biblical Hebrew. Hers will say "where you go I will go", and mine will say "your people will be my people". (Neither of us is strictly speaking the other's FH, but I'm transmasculine so if there's a "man" in our relationship I'm it.)

We've discussed "to infinity and beyond." It's sentimental not only to FH and I, but also my family. We haven't looked into buying bands yet though so we'll see.

It will be a surprise. But I am going to put something like.. "Put this back on".

Where did you all get yours engraved? I checked things remembered, but they don't do it.

You know, I didn't even think about getting an engraving in his ring. I still have to go get my engagement ring sized and when they do that they are going to be engraving it, fh wants to keep it a surprise for me. Following this because I'm going to need ideas for his wedding band.

Oh and also, he went to Jared so that's where we're getting my engagement ring engraved and he wants to go their when we get our wedding bands. I think he's got a thing for the Russian lady who worked with him on my e-ring haha

We frequently say to each other, "I pick you" & the other says "I choose you", so we may do that.

@SyddMom, I love that! We have alternative bands to wear at work (nurse & mechanic), so he will take his nice one off frequently.

@springbride16, check with the jeweler you purchased the ring from. We got ours at Zales and the engraving is free if you have their insurance.

Our engravings were similar. Mine has his name and our wedding date, his has my name and the wedding date.

'Worth The Wait'

We dated for 8 years and he truly was worth the wait... even if I wanted to get married earlier I would never have left him for someone else. I waited until he was ready and honestly this saying is perfect for the both of us. We are surprising each other with what we have engraved so I'm really excited to see what he picked for me. He said it was three words as well - wouldn't that be something if it was the same phrase!?!

@Sharon, I got "I know" engraved on my FH band too!

I didn't have anything engraved on FH ring,but he chose to have my name and wedding date engraved on it.edited: Sorry just read that didn't come across as meant, what I mean is I wasn't bothered what he had on his ring, but he decided what he wanted and came home one day and told me what he had put on it. Which was nice.
