Grooms Must haves

My husband got super into our cake tasting. I have literally never seen him take anything more seriously in his life 😂 I just caved and let him choose the flavors and design for the whole cake because I was just so happy he finally had a strong opinion about something hahaha

I have yet to hit that peak of FH wanting or needing anything. He's been pretty laid back so if that time comes, I think I would actually be happy that he's excited about something lol.

Same, I was delighted he was so excited, so I felt we needed to go with it.

The only thing my FH has been dead set on having is the round tables at the reception instead of the long rectangle ones. He just randomly blurted it out one day that he wants those and there's no debating. Well his reasoning is that people will actually talk to each other and have a good time. Can't argue with that 😂 We'll see if he has anymore demands as the date gets closer haha

Colors were his biggest input! Haha. I loooove seeing involved grooms, it's their day too!! I'd rather us bicker about deciding on something than a groom that doesn't help at all.

That's amazing! We had a blast with deciding on cake flavors too.

My husband's requirements were:

Open Bar, Good Food, Black Suits, Great Bachelor Party, Huge/Fancy Groom's Suite, & Providing Transportation.

He agreed with me on a lot but he helped with venue, food & baker, and blocked hotel the most. I was happy he spoke up! It felt like we really both planned it and were involved.

He picked his tie too and his elk lapel pin.

He ended up with a groom's suite bigger than the bridal suite! It had two rooms, a huge TV, a poker table, and an entire separate room for smoking cigars.

I was happy our venue had a groom's suite because he got some "getting ready" pictures too.

My FH was excited about the food and cake tasting lol

Also what he wore was a BIG deal for him but otherwise nothing. Its funny they say men don't care that much but i notice he will give his added 2 cents even when i dont ask lol. I just say ok dear and move on LOL

My FH was most excited about the cake flavors, his groom's cake, and specific songs! He, also, has been super into watches for the wedding. Last Christmas, he bought himself an Apple Watch. I got one and convinced him he needed to get one. He never wore watches before that. Now, he's obsessed with watches and has bought about 3 different ones for the wedding!

For a minute there, mine was slightly confused about the differences between a wedding and the first ever Woodstock. Not saying they were bad ideas, but not what I had envisioned for our wedding day. Other than that hes the cutest at helping. When we first got engaged he told literally everyone the colors even though he had no idea what that meant, he just thought it was super important bc it was one of the first things he saw me put thought into.

Hmmmm, he randomly bought favors for the wedding, and he was super stoked about the invitations. I think it's because he paid for them and wanted to see what his money got. Haha

Lol Mine had been weird. All of a sudden one day he said he wanted a particular centerpiece. I went with it because 1. I liked it and 2. He rarely gets excited and it's his day too.

Mine hasn’t cared about much, mostly just the food.

My FH really wanted a limo and a photo booth that gives the photo strips!

My FH was the same way! He absolutely refuses to see me until I'm walking down the aisle It makes pictures more tricky but it's nice of him to have such a strong opinion on something.

Mine so far has been adamant about the venue, he wants something overlooking the beach or close to the water for great pictures. So far he hasn't requested anything he has just agreed with everything else lol
