And for the record, black would also look great! The darker you go, the more formal, of course. A black shirt with that sounds very dark to me, so I’d say it depends on the season. For winter, it could work! For summer, it sounds heavy (and also like he’ll be sweating nonstop lol).

My fiance is choosing what he wears, as I am choosing my own dress! We aren't doing a wedding party standing with us, but if we were I wouldn't want him matching the bridesmaids, but that's just me! Just sticking to black is always safe if you are really stuck. Best of luck !

White/ivory shirt and tie OR a gold, blush, or balck tie if yall want a little more color. ? You could have the groomsmen wear burgundy ties to match the bridesmaids.

My colors are burgundy & tan/brown with blush pink. The bridesmaids are wearing burgundy, the groom is going to wear a white long sleeve shirt with a champagne vest & tie. The groomsmen are going to wear the same thing except they'll be wearing dark brown vests & tie.

First congratulations... I personally don’t see where wearing a black tux, traditional white shirt and his burgundy tie wouldn’t be fine. I also think it’s great that he’s adding his opinion 😀 Keep us posted👨

I think a classic black suit, white or any pale/muted color, with a colored tie to match the girls would look so beautiful! Super understated and elegant.
