Groom seeing your dress?

Yup. We live together and he was curious. He didn’t see it on me until our wedding day though.

He's seen the dresses that I'm trying on and helped me choose a few more while looking at them online, but he made me promise to not show him the dress I end up choosing even if he asks. Ideally, I'd love for him to come with me for trying them on because I value his opinion most and he often has to convince me to wear anything new. But I suppose a promise is a promise.

I sent him a few pics of different dresses (including the one) and he liked the one so I knew it was the right choice! I never told him which one I really picked.

No, my fiancé has not seen the dress yet. And I don’t want him to until I walk down the aisle.

My husband and I linked our Google Photos accounts, so that every time we take photos on our phones, they get backed up and we can see each other's photos. I purposely did not take any photos of my dress with my phone. Lol.

Yes. He helped choose it from a group of dresses that I narrowed down. He’ll see it in me when we do a first look on wedding day. We’re also staying together the mighty before the wedding. We already live together, plus that’s a special night that we can share together.

My FH has told me he doesn't want to see it or know any details, we are not doing a 1st look, he wants to be completely surprised when I walk down the aisle. We do live together but my dress will stay at my sister in law's house

No , not even just seeing the dress not on me he doesnt want to see it and i dont want him to either till i walk down the isle he wants it to be a total surprise and so do i. Everything else he knows about my hair piece my veil etc but not the dress i think they have more emotions when they see you for the first time, but thats me so No i will not show him my dress till he sees me walking to him for ceremony

FH doesn’t want to see it until the wedding because he wants to be surprised! I, also, am traditional in the fact that I don’t want him to see it until then. We’ll be doing a first look so he’ll see it a few hours before I walk down the aisle, though.

I’ve asked him if he’s wanted to see dresses I’m looking at online but he won’t even look at pictures... He doesn’t even want a first look! Walking down the aisle is it....

I haven’t gotten the dress yet, but I will not be showing FH before the ceremony. Personally, I would love it if he came shopping with me and helped me choose “the one”. But, he wants it to be a complete surprise.

We are eloping but I still don't want FH to see my dress till the day off.

Mine refuses to see my dress lol. He doesn't want to see any of my attire: shoes, sash, hair comb...everything.

Mine paid for my second dress when the one my parents wanted me to wear didn’t fit. Basically he said, buy it with our card but don’t tell me about it. He said he wants no details and when I start talking about something even remotely close he is like “I don’t want to know” lol so we are keeping it a surprise till the moment I walk down the isle.

My FH has seen pictures of my dress on the models - and a few shots of my chest in it because I was trying to decide if one bra set up showed too much cleavage. But he hasn’t seen the whole thing on me...he will at our first look.

I discussed this with my FH and he told me absolutely NOT 😂 he said the first time I wanna see you is when you walk down the aisle

Yes. He has been the most supportive and helpful person while I’ve been looking for my dress. We don’t believe in the superstition/tradition associated with the seeing the dress before the wedding. We both feel that the actual marriage is more important than superstition/traditions so we are more focused on our relationship and being happy rather than what society dictates.

We aren't too far in the planning yet so I might show him a couple of dresses now to see what he thinks might look good on me or what he would like to see me in, but I know what I want will be more important. But once I do find my dress he will NOT see it until the wedding.
