Groom gift?

How do you guys go about this conversation?

He and I talked about doing a gift exchange, but I'm starting to think a sweet note is much better.

Please don't judge me, I sound really stupid in my head, but I am so overwhelmed right now that I don't think I am thinking straight.

Did you and SO just say "let's exchange letters"?

I love my fiancé so much, he's my BETTER half and I am so excited to be marrying my love, but he's definitely not one to think of these things in his own. I DO NOT want to pressure him into giving me something either, if he gives me something I want it to be genuine. We aren't big gift people either, we rarely gift things to each other.

I don't know, I am starting to sound crazy in my own head! lol I'm sorry!

My FH looked at my like I was crazy when I suggested exchanging gifts, since we are paying for our whole wedding and a lot is going in to it. So we decided to exchange letters the morning of!

I said, "what do you think about exchanging gifts on our wedding day?" And went from there!

I got him a t-shirt from his fave tv show (Monkey Garage) AND his fave chocolates (Almond Joys), along with a cute little letter, that said.... "Something sweet for the sweetest future hubby...etc" Something along those lines He had his Best Man deliver his gift to me while I was getting ready in my Bridal Room, and I sent the Best Man to deliver my gift to him, outside in the garden. My photographer took some great shots of him and I opening our presents... Hope this helps

During the "getting ready" process my MOH will go to his room and give him his gift from me and his BM will come to my room and give me his gift to me. This way the photographer and videographer will be able to catch the moment as well. I am getting my FH a personalized Giants football jersey with our wedding date as the number and the name on the back will say MR RIGHT.

Im getting my groom the Creed cologne (which is one of his favs) with the words Mr. & Mrs. (his last name) along with a handwritten note with 12 things I love about him. I will have my MOH deliver it to his hotel room as we are both getting ready.

I'm planning on getting him boudoir photos to be delivered as he's getting dressed and he will be getting me the earrings that match my engagement ring. His gift to me we would have spent the money on anyway. The pictures are a surprise for him but I couldn't resist.

I wanted to do a boudoir photo shoot but it was overly expensive so I think I am going to get him a silicone wedding band. He wants one to travel with so that's what I'm thinking.

I got my FH a pair of Batman cufflinks and I'm writing him a letter that one of my bridesmaids will deliver to him while he's getting ready.

I got mine a belt to wear the day of that has his last name on it, his favorite whiskey, and I'm going to write him a letter

We are each writing a card for each other to read. Either my photographer or my MOH will go in between the hotel rooms to deliver.

I love this idea and so glad we gave gifts. I worked with our female photographer to create a mini boudoir album and he gave me a Dreamlines piece of art. My wedding dress sketched along with his suit. Both were amazing and we both loved them, so they were perfect. We loved personalized gifts so we are always go that route. Good luck in your search! <3
