Groom doesn't want bride to see his outfit?

I totally agree!! Let him be an adult and pick out his own tux/suit whatever. All I told the GM's is what color tie and vest to get. The rest is their decision. Why is it that MOB, FMIL, FFIL, etc. can't be told what to wear but a FH can?

My FH has expressed similar wishes. Our only argument has been about what he and the guys will wear. Try to provide the overall picture of what you are hoping to invision and print out some color combos so he can (theoretically) take the ideas with him to Menswarehouse, etc. And the consultant can help make things unique for him but stay with the overall theme.

I think you should respect his wishes, it's only fair. My H did express that he was kind of sad that he didn't get to suprise me on our wedding day the way I was going to suprise him. This was after I already saw him in his clothes (which he picked totally by himself), so as a compromise we decided that I wouldn't see the final product after his alterations until the wedding day (he bought his clothes, not rented).

My fiancé told me the same thing! And I think I'm okay with it... I think it'll be a fun surprise

My FH is the same way. He said "You will know nothing, bride snow" and we both had a nice long laugh.

What if a bride came on here and said she wanted to choose her own dress, but her FH says she has no sense of style and he has to approve what she wears? Just curious.

Mine feels the same way! He asked me for color swatches and general guidelines and the rest is up to him! I actually enjoy it, as long as he doesn't drag ass too badly. Lol.
