Groom attending bridal shower??

Ok ladies I need your help on this one! Does the groom attend a bridal shower? It's a big debate right now lol. My bridal shower is tomorrow and I want my fiancé to be there for the whole shower. He doesn't think he should be there. The last 3 out of 4 showers I went to the guy was there the whole time. I am getting very mixed reviews from people from him not having to go to just being there for when gifts are opened to him having to be there the whole time. Help!

I would think it odd if the groom wanted to attend. Have fun with the girls!

I've never been to a shower where a groom was there the whole time. If only women are attending, I think that's weird. Why would you expect him to be there with a bunch of women?

I've only seen the groom at the very end to help load gifts into the car.

Do what You're comfortable with. We had two couple's shower so DH and the guys in the family were there the whole time. If it's a true bridal shower where only women are allowed, your fh may get bored or awkward being just him. Ask him what he prefers. Usually bridal showers are just girls.

My fiance is coming and staying the whole time because I really want him there because I dont have family here so its going to.be all his family and that's weird haha. Besides, they are his gifts too!!

If it's a couples shower and other men are there, definitely. If it's only women, I think it would be a little strange. Last shower I went to, the groom came after gifts to say hello and thank you.
As a guest, I would find it odd if the groom went but your guest's SOs were excluded.
