We are getting married September 24, 2022, when should my FH and his groomsmen go get measured and get their tuxes?

    Are you renting or buying? Off the rack or made to measure?

    A tailored, made-to-measure suit will usually take about 6 weeks from measuring to delivery, and ideally you'd want a week or two buffer to make sure any alterations can be done.

    You can order a rental much closer to the time, but of course, it's nice to be able to choose exactly what you want and not be restricted in your choices due to having booked only a few weeks out.

    Thank you this helps alot!! I basically told my FH they could wear whatever he wanted, he instantly replied with cargo shorts and Hawaiian shirts (totally trying to mess with me lol) I said that was fine. So this at least gives me an idea of what timelines to tell him for whatever he decides.

    We got married on 4/3/21-he didn’t choose his groomsmen until January ‘21 which drove me crazy! They got fitted mid February & their suits came in a week before the wedding. I was so stressed about that!

    Oh my gosh I would be too!!! My FH has his groomsmen picked out already so thats a huge plus.

    I would say July! We are getting married this weekend and my fiance went with his guys mid-July.
