As hundreds of others brides recently, we just decided to postpone our Oct wedding to next year. There's just too much uncertainty and risk in NYC for us to feel comfortable with going forward.
I've read so many horror stories about couples being screwed out of their money or charged more by their vendors for postponing their weddings. I have to say our vendors have been fabulous, answering our questions, talking us through our options, being flexible and most importantly being the utmost professionals, putting our concerns ahead of their profits even though they're all losing a lot of money this year.
